Medical Mission

April 21-28, 2010 

This trip is full.  Originally a student trip, the trip has been changed to a medical mission because of the January 12, 2010 earthquake.  The team of 21 medical personnel will work in the Les Cayes area including our land and the future home of the Forward in Health medical clinic in Fonfrede.  We are contacting the minister of health in Les Cayes to ask how we can help at the hospital in Les Cayes.

Donations of over the counter medications are needed and being accepted. Please      e-mail Paula Mulqueen at pmulqueen@forwardinhealth.org if able to donate medication.

We are most in need of:

• Children's Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Children's Ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin)
• Head Lice Shampoo
• Children's vitamins with iron
• 1% Hydrocortisone Cream
• Dandruff Shampoo (Sebulex, Denorex, Selsun Blue, etc.)

Partially full with the need for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses.

The trip will last 8 days.  Dates have not been finalized.
